"The vision of BUchurches came about after four years as a student at Baylor. Many months of these years were spent visiting churches. Through my own search I discovered two things: There is little to no information about most churches available to the general public and there are many good churches that I had never heard anything about.

BUchurches seeks to bring college students and local churches together. By making information about local churches accessible, these students can have an idea of what a church is like before walking in the door. In addition, church schedules, directions, websites, and many other useful items are put at the students' fingertips.

College students are looking for big, small, contemporary, traditional, country, urban, old, young, liberal, and conservative churches. Different people like different churches. Too many times students are limited by a lack of information. Finally there is a solution to help students and churches reach each other more effectively."
